Beyond the Brush Pottery Glazing Techniques Saturdays | 10 AM–12 PM Bring along your coffee or favorite morning drink, pack a snack if you'd like, and join us for a laid-back Saturday morning of pottery, creativity, and conversation. **Beyond the Brush** is for anyone who wants to discover what else you can do with pottery glaze besides painting it on with a brush. Spend the morning learning new techniques, experimenting with color, pattern, and texture, and enjoying the company of other creative people. Every Saturday we'll explore different techniques using Mayco Stroke & Coat glazes. Depending on the week, we may experiment with bubble glazing, splattering, sponging, resist techniques, layering, marbling, stencils, texture and more. $10 Technique Session + Pottery The $10 reservation holds your spot and includes instruction, glaze materials and a practice piece where you can try out the day's techniques. Once you arrive, you'll choose the pottery piece—or pieces!—you want to create. **Pottery is purchased separately**, allowing you to choose something that works for your style and budget. Then settle in, play with glaze, visit with other creatives, and enjoy a casual morning of making together. We'll have the glazes, tools, instruction, and inspiration ready for you. When your piece is complete, leave it with us for kiln firing. We'll let you know when it's ready to pick up, usually within a week, sometimes sooner.
